how to pack for a picnic
Finally, here are some tips on how to pack for a hassle free picnic this Spring.
1. Use ice packs to keep cold food cool, otherwise it can spoil. Especially on a hot summer day. If you don't have ice packs, put a plastic water bottle in the freezer and use it as an ice pack.
2. Use the right containers to pack food properly so it doesn't get squashed. Portion and pre-cut items as much as possible before packing it for the picnic. This will save time and reduce the amount of food handling required at the picnic.
3. Protect yourself from the sun by using sun protection - sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Re-apply as needed.
4. Keep yourself hydrated by taking enough drinking water. Carry water bottles, and glasses.
5. Don't forget the cutlery and crockery along with napkins and trash bags. Clear up any mess, and leave the picnic area nice and clean for the next guests.
