Method

Place the strawberries, lemon juice and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium- high heat. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Transfer the strawberry mixture to a Nutra bullet or blender. Blend until smooth. Strain though a fine sieve. Refrigerate until cold.

Serving suggestion Break waffle cones into pieces and arrange over a plate. Top with vanilla ice cream, chopped Ferrara Roche chocolates. Spoon over fresh strawberry sauce and finish with small fresh mint leaves.

Extra serving ideas; Spoon over ice cream, pavlova, yoghurt or fresh fruit. Add to smoothies, shakes or cocktails.

TipFor a boozy adult only sauce, add 2 tablespoons (40ml) chilled gin, vodka or Limoncello to the sauce in step 2 after the sauce has been strained.
