If you’re going to eat your Calypso® Mango in a salad or for pickling, consider choosing a hard one with a green tinge to the skin. For barbequing, a stir fry and baking, select a Calypso® Mango which is pale yellow with spots starting to show. Choose a Calypso® Mango which is slightly soft and golden yellow with black freckles, if you want to eat it by itself, add to smoothies, drinks, jams or dressing.
During the October to February season, Aussie growers will harvest approximately 30 million Calypso® Mangoes across more than 5,000 km.
